Clutch Project: Step by Step

A couples of weeks ago we worked on the design of a new smaller bag, it's not that small though so you'll have room to carry everything you need, after all whats the purpose of carrying a bag if you can't take all that you need!
We had the first ones for the private sale, just out from the oven and they were a hit!
Here is the step by step of how we produce our clutch.

Hace algunas semanas trabajamos en un nuevo diseño de cartera, uno mas pequeño, que igualmente no es tan pequeño, así que tendrás espacio para llevar todo lo necesario, después de todo cuál es el propósito de llevar una cartera en donde no te entra lo que necesitas!! 
Recien salidos del horno los tuvimos en la feria de la semana pasada y fueron un exito total!

Hello!

I could not wait to write this post! I want to thank all the people who came yesterday, it was really great and with a great and cool vibe!
It is a pleasure to work with friends, and feel the support from all my friends and family. It's been a while since my last private sale (in some other post I will tell you about my early days with my friend Lu and Haz de Mi) and I had forgotten that even though teh hard work to put everything together for a couple of days, the reward is huge!!

No podia aguantar escribir este post! Primero para agradecerle a toda la gente que vino hoy, la verdad la pasamos espectacular y todos con muy buena onda!
Es un placer trabajar con amigas, y sentir el apoyo de todos lados. Hace mucho que no hacia una feria (en algun otro post ya les contare de mis comienzos con mi amiga Lu y Haz de Mi) y me habia olvidado que a pesar de que se trabaja mucho para solo un par de dias, tambien la recompensa es enorme!!

A day at the workshop...

Many people asked me about my workshop, how it worked, what it looked like, the machines we use, etc. Yesterday I spent some time there and took some pictures, they are not the best quality pictures since I took the from my phone, but it may give you an idea of what handmade leather bags look like while in production.
Hope you like it!

Muchos de ustedes me preguntan como es mi taller, como funciona, cual es el proceso, las maquinas, etc. Ayer estuve toda la tarde alli y se me ocurrio sacar algunas fotos, no son fotos de calidad ya que las saque con mi telefono, pero se pueden dar una idea de como se ve una produccion de carteras de cuero hechos a mano.

Mikai & friends go partying!

Hi all!
I've been working really hard this past few days to have everything set for the first The Tienditas event. The Tienditas is an art & design showroom in which some designers join together to show their creations.
This first event will take place in Vitacura, and joining us there will be: hacer a mano, Little Canela, Kit and TinyFootprints.

Estos ultimos dias estuve trabajando muchisimo para tener todo listo para el primer evento de The Tienditas. The Tienditas es un showroom de arte y diseño en donde distintos diseñadores se reúnen para mostrar sus creaciones.
