Junto con Paula Dates, estuvimos en el bazar de navida de la revista Paula. A pesar del calor, la pasamos increible y no queria dejar de agradecerles a todas las que pasaron a visitarnos y en especial a mi amiga Ine Gastaldi que nos ayudo con la deco del stand!

Hello!

I could not wait to write this post! I want to thank all the people who came yesterday, it was really great and with a great and cool vibe!
It is a pleasure to work with friends, and feel the support from all my friends and family. It's been a while since my last private sale (in some other post I will tell you about my early days with my friend Lu and Haz de Mi) and I had forgotten that even though teh hard work to put everything together for a couple of days, the reward is huge!!

No podia aguantar escribir este post! Primero para agradecerle a toda la gente que vino hoy, la verdad la pasamos espectacular y todos con muy buena onda!
Es un placer trabajar con amigas, y sentir el apoyo de todos lados. Hace mucho que no hacia una feria (en algun otro post ya les contare de mis comienzos con mi amiga Lu y Haz de Mi) y me habia olvidado que a pesar de que se trabaja mucho para solo un par de dias, tambien la recompensa es enorme!!

I've been working really hard this past few days to have everything set for the first The Tienditas event. The Tienditas is an art & design showroom in which some designers join together to show their creations.
This first event will take place in Vitacura, and joining us there will be: hacer a mano, Little Canela, Kit and TinyFootprints.

Happy new Year!!! Happy New Start!!!

Hi girls!!
It's the beginning of the year, and we all have new resolutions to accomplish! It's hard I know, especially when 2010 resolutions are still unfulfilled! What are mines? This blog!
I started it like a month ago, in a way to communicate with Mikai fans, so nothing better than a brand new year for a brand new post.

And this post it's about Mikai's new store in Santiago, Chile!

For a long time, my spanish friend Ana and I were talking about opening a store/showroom together, so the minute we got to Chile (we moved here after 2 years of living in Chicago) we put our plan in motion.
We opened the showroom called The Tienditas, just before christmas , and so far so good! At The Tienditas you can find all Mikai styles as well as Canela con Sal clothes and accesories. We already had some press releases in some magazines and blogs, with great feedback from the readers! So, wish us luck and I'll keep you post it with how we are doing here in the south!
